A year later, the SK Tohoi, Gua Musang Orang Asli pupils who were found alive after 47 days they went missing, are still traumatised and refuse to go back to school.

About 62 per cent, or 117, out of 189 Orang Asli pupils of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tohoi, have returned to school to continue with their studies, said Kelantan State Education Department director.

Norieen Yaakob, 10, and Miksudiar Aluj, 11, are no longer interested in continuing their studies at SK Tohoi as they are still traumatised by the incident.

The four Orang Asli pupils of SK Tohoi were laid to rest simultaneously according to customs of the Temiar tribe at 2pm.
